Welcome back to the party, Dayton. After a 1-3 start to conference play, the Flyers have won three straight, including a second consecutive wire-to-wire victory in their game against Saint Joseph’s on Friday night. Senior forward Nate Santos was brilliant in the win, recording 24 points on 9/13 shooting—including a perfect 4/4 from three—and grabbing eight rebounds. Talented freshman Amael L’Etang added 14 (5/12 FG) and six rebounds, while Malachi Smith and Javon Bennett each scored 12.

On the other end of the floor, the Hawks received valiant efforts from their three best players, Erik Reynolds (21 points, 8/19 FG), Xzayvier Brown (18 points, 6/12 FG, four rebounds, five assists), and Rasheer Fleming (13 points, 5/11 FG, seven rebounds) all showed up, but the Flyers refused to relinquish the lead, which reached as high as 19 points on the evening.

VCU (16-4, 6-1 A10) 75, Saint Bonaventure (15-6, 305 A10) 61
