Preseason Interview Series: St. Bonaventure's Dana Valentine
An offseason recap with one of the Bonnies' assistant coaches
Nathan Mook of The Vault Network sits down with St. Bonaventure assistant coach Dana Valentine to discuss the upcoming 2024-25 season ahead of the Bonnies’ season opener versus California State- Northridge on Monday, November 4th.
A longtime assistant at Putnam Science Academy (Putnam, Connecticut), Valentine’s first year with the program came a year ago when St. Bonaventure finished 20-13 overall (9-9 in conference play) and a trip to the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 postseason tournament.
Now, the Bonnies, picked tenth in the 2024-25 Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, gear up for another league year under longtime head coach Mark Schmidt, who’s entering his eighteenth season at the helm. For more on the program’s offseason thus far, check out the interview below:
